Ever since Max Rissman was four years old, when he forced his parents to watch and subsequently act out "The Wizard of Oz" with him nightly, he has been captivated by the power of stories. He wrote his first short story when he was six and his first play when he was fifteen, yet it wasn’t until he wrote his first screenplay that he discovered exactly what he wanted to do with his life. After attending college at Washington University in St. Louis, Max enrolled in NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts MFA program in filmmaking, the first step in what he hopes is a life full of chasing crazy dreams.
